  • Join your friendly guide for a leisurely and engaging tour of New Zealand's capital city of Wellington.  Choose from either a half or full day tour experience.

Itinerary

  • Parliament and the Old Wooden Government Building

  • Historic Old St Pauls Church

  • Otari Wilton Bush Reserve, the only public botanic garden dedicated solely to New Zealand native plants. 

  • Stroll a canopy walkway 18 metres above the forest floor.

  • Ride the famous cable car.

  • Scenic drive around the rugged southern coast line.

  • Finish with a trip up Mt Victoria for panoramic views of the whole of Wellington. 

  • Return to cruise ship

Full Day

Itinerary

  • Parliament and the Old Wooden Government Building

  • Lunch (at your own expense.) We will then head off round the Bays to the old Defence base at Shelly Bay (now home to the iconic Chocolate Fish cafe).

  • A scenic drive including  Scorching Bay and Seatoun to Breaker Bay.

  • Visit Wahine Memorial Park and the Chilean moai at Lyall Bay.

  • Drive back through the Mt Victoria tunnel

  • Return to cruise ship

Join our small group tour and experience some of the very best of New Zealand’s capital city and its diversity with a ‘Town and Country Tour’.  Enjoy your personal tour commentary by your local guide.

We look forward to sharing with you and your friends some of Wellington’s uniqueness on our ‘Town and Country’ Tour.

  • Wander around the Lady Norwood Rose Gardens

  • Views over Wellington from the top of Mount Victoria

  • Plenty of photo opportunity stops in and around Wellington town and country.

  • Pick-up at 10.00am from Centreport Cruise ship terminal; and at 10.10am from Wellington i-SITE Visitor & Information Centre – please advise us of your pick-up location when booking and we will confirm your pick-up time.

  • Contact us for any Wellington city hotel pick-up arrangement.
    Drop-off approximately at 3.00 pm at Centreport or Wellington i-SITE. 

  • Adult $140; Child $75 
    (Child is 2 years to 14 years - under 2 years free)

  • Car seat or booster seat provided for children under 8 years – by law.
