Bookatour started with humble beginnings in 2010.  Bex Hill a qualified teacher and owner of a successful child holiday programme passed her bus license so she could drive her children around to various activities.   One day a bus company asked if she would take a local bus tour out.  Bex had a blast, and so did her guests. One tour job led to another and before long Bex had sold the holiday programme and joined the local tour operations offering a service to cruise ship passengers. Bex's warm, friendly and fun approach to tourism was an instant success. It was not long before one bus was not enough. By 2016 Bex had established Bookatour as one of the major operators in Dunedin with multiple tours and a compliment of outgoing drivers and guides.   Now in 2023 Bookatour has taken a new direction, focusing on creating bespoke tours for guests, creating private tours that meet the needs of our clients.
