Terms and conditions

 

Refunds

Any credit card refund will be returned in NZ dollars for the original amount.  This may be subject to currency conversions/fees outside of Bookatour’s control.  The refund will be returned to the credit card used for the initial purchase.  Refunds will be at the discretion of management. Refunds must be applied for in writing to refunds@bookatour.co.nz

 

Cancellation of Vessel

Should your vessel cancel or change its arrival date, and we are unable to provide a tour service to you as a result of this change then you will be credited back the cost of your tour less any expenses incurred by Bookatour (Typically this would be any credit card transaction fees). Refunds must be applied for in writing to refunds@bookatour.co.nz

 

Reschedule of Vessel

Should your vessel reschedule its arrival, provided a service can be made available, there will be no additional charges.  If a service is not available on the new date a refund will be offered as per the Cancellation of Vessel and Refunds policies.

 

24 hour cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your booking within 24 hours of your tour you will forfiet all your tour fees paid.

 

Cancellation on the day

If you do not show up at the arranged meeting place at the prescribed time, or you decide not to attend the tour on that day then you will forfeit all tour fees paid.

 

Weather cancellation

Should your vessel be unable to enter or berth, thereby making it impossible to attend the tour a refund will be given as per the Cancellation of Vessel and Refunds policy.  If you decide not to attend the tour on account of the days weather this will be considered a Cancellation on the day.

 

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Boarding the tour bus is deemed to be accepting of all Terms and Conditions. Any departure from these terms after this point, or any modifications to payment, fees, services provided or services rendered are at the discretion of Management.

 

Service gateway

Where the services of another operator are provided for it is agreed and understood that Bookatour is acting only as an agent for the passenger to arrange such services and accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any default of that operator.

 

Indemnity

Bookatour, it’s staff or transport partners will not be liable for the sickness, injury or death to any passengers, loss of or damage of any personal effects, whether caused by Bookatours negligence or otherwise. The purchaser of this tour and passenger jointly and severally agree to indemnify Bookatour against liability to any person on whose behalf the tour was purchased.

 

Right of refusal

Bookatour reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger, luggage or goods without giving any reason.

 

Liability

Bookatour shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or consequential upon, directly or indirectly, an abandonment of, delay in departure or delay during any trip however caused.

 

Departure times

Bookatour will endeavour to adhere to stated departure and arrival times but will not be liable for any failure to meet those times or cancellations due to weather or any other conditions.

 

PCI Compliance and Card payment processing

Payments via bookatour.co.nz will be processed by eWAY,  a Tier 1 PCI compliant payment processor via an Infusionsoft environment which is also Tier 1 PCI compliant. More information about PCI compliance relative to each provider can be found below.
